We had a brilliant week staying at Sunshine Cottage. The house was lovely and clean with everything we needed for a week away. The location is great, overlooking the harbour and a short walk into beautiful Whitby which we loved. We have three children 11 and under and we loved the fish and chips, boat trip, the Abbey and of course the 2p machines in the arcades! Lovely cliff top walks and lots to do in the surrounding area too. Mark was a great host, check in was easy and the house was a brilliant base for our week away.
We had a lovely stay at Sunshine Cottage whilst celebrating a 60th birthday. The property was warm, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay. The sunset views were lovely and the little garden was a bonus. It was a short stroll along to the abbey, town or beach. The house is built on a hillside so involves steps up and down to the town. There is parking near to the property but it was sometimes difficult to get parked as it was a particularly busy weekend in the town. The owner responded quickly to questions or queries. Would definitely stay again.

Great little house, fab location for walking into Whitby itself and also to visit Whitby Abbey too. Very restful stay, lots to do and explore in Whitby!
